New transformer near 1.5m telescope. This provides power to the 2.1m telescope and the TAOS site. Transformer near 2.1m telescope. Power for 2.1m telescope splits off here, and the 13200V lines continue to TAOS control room site. Transformer hut near 2.1m telescope. Access box for power and network cables just below 2.1m telescope. Conduits run underground from 2.1m hut to here, then continue in concrete on left side of box down hill to the TAOS 2 access road. Electrical conduits running down hill from near 2.1 meter telescope to the TAOS site access road. Electrical and network cable conduit continuing down hill to access road. View of electrical conduit as it runs uphill to the 2.1m transformer hut. Final access box along concrete cable conduit. Cables run under road the rest of the way to the TAOS sites. 13200V cables inside access box. Cable access box at end of main access road. Cables split here, one cable goes to TAOS site #1, the other to the control room and sites #2 and #3. Inside access box, where cables for site #1 split off. Cable access box on way to control room site. Transformer hut for control room is shown in background. Transformer in hut near control room site. Inside transformer cabinet in control room transformer hut. Red cables are 13200V, black cables are 220V 3-phase for control room. Future site of control room, next to transformer hut. Access road to site #1 from control room site. Access road to telescope #1 site, looking toward control room. Transformer hut near telescope #1 site, from access road. Transformer in hut next to telescope #1 site. Inside transformer cabinet in hut next to telescope #1 site. Red cables are 13200V lines, black cables are 220V 3-phase lines for telescope #1. Transformer hut from telescope #1 site. View of telescope #1 site from #3 site. Transformer hut is visible. Access road to sites #2 and #3, from near control room site. Site for telescope #2. Transformer in hut at telescope #2 site. Cables under transformer in hut next to telescope #2 site. Red cables are 13200V lines, thin black lines are 220V 3-phase lines to telescope site #2, and thick black lines are 440V 3-phase to telescope site #3. Inside transformer cabinet in hut next to telescope #2 site. Access road to telescope #3 site from site #2. Cable access box on road from telescope site #2 to site #3. This box will eventually be buried under the road when it is finished. 440V lines to telescope site #3 are coiled in this box until foundation is ready. A transformer will be placed outside the enclosure to provide 220V power to telescope. Telescope #3 site. Transformer hut next to telescope #2 site, from site #1. Conduit being buried under the access road to telescope sites 2 and 3.
